A Vision Turned Reality: The Story Behind the Bespoke Video
When Huntingdonshire District Council approached us with their vision of attracting top talent to their planning department, we saw this as a brilliant opportunity to do something different. We knew this project required more than just a standard recruitment video. Subsequently the goal was to create something truly engaging. Something that would not only inform potential applicants about the available opportunities but also inspire them to envision a rewarding career with Huntingdonshire District Council.

Collaborative Creativity: Bringing the Project to Life
From the outset, this project was a collaborative effort. We worked closely with Huntingdonshire District Council to understand their recruitment needs, identify key messages, and design a bespoke video concept that would resonate with their target audience. Our team handled everything working closely with Sam Sanderson, rom planning and directing the shoot at their head office and various scenic locations around the district, to the post-production editing process.
The shoot day was a testament to teamwork and creative collaboration. We sought to capture what makes a career in planning with Huntingdonshire District Council unique. The district’s beautiful landscapes provided a perfect backdrop to highlight the opportunities available. Our team ensured that every shot conveyed the Council’s commitment to innovation and community development.
The Magic of Post-Production: Transforming Footage into a Compelling Narrative
After the shoot, the focus shifted to post-production, where the real magic happened. Our editing team carefully crafted the final video using a blend of animated graphics and carefully selected music to create an engaging narrative. But the use of animation added a dynamic element that helped communicate complex information in an accessible way. Moreover the music set the tone for a forward-thinking, progressive workplace.
The end result? A visually striking and informative bespoke video that not only promotes job opportunities. But also positions Huntingdonshire District Council as an employer of choice for planning professionals.
